From music journalism to producer, Rocio Portillo is completely immersed in the world of music.
Belonging to an extensive family of artists, she has been passionate about music since childhood, influenced by various musical styles. She learned to play multiple instruments, including the piano, and honed her skills in singing and locution, participating in choirs and studying independently. Her love for electronic music began at 18 when she started attending festivals and clubs, supporting the local, national, and international electronic scene.
Later, she ventured into DJing and music production. In addition to her solo career, she began a band project in early 2021, collaborating with two musicians from Mendoza—Karim Sar Sar on saxophone and Valley (AR) on keyboard, guitar, and arrangements. Together, they formed a hybrid group, where she contributes her voice. Currently residing in Mendoza, Argentina, she practices short-term and cultural journalism while continuing to compose her own music, either solo or in collaboration with other musicians. She also performs in both solo and band formats, as well as DJ and hybrid sets.
